Wellness Programs

Although many employers have provided workplace wellness programs to try and alleviate the negative impacts of stress, few have worked to provide tools and strategies to help employees navigate stress in a way that opens pathways for increased productivity, performance, and most importantly, health. Employees are expected to be resilient yet lack the proper resources, outreach, and education. The Re-Set workshop is designed to help participants acknowledge and address their stressors, cultivate a new mindset regarding stress and health, and develop effective strategies to cope with and navigate through stress.

  • Re- Set: Rethinking Stress for Everyone to THRIVE

    This workshop delves into the transformative power of altering our perceptions of stress. In a world where stress is often seen as the villain, this workshop seeks to challenge the traditional narrative of stress as purely negative. Participants will explore the science behind stress mindset and develop practical strategies to reframe stress as a catalyst for growth and productivity. By tapping into the psychology behind resilience participants will learn how to harness stress as a tool for personal empowerment. Through interactive discussions and evidence-based insights, participants will better understand how mindset shapes our response to stress. They'll leave equipped with actionable techniques to reveal resilience, optimize well-being, and thrive in the face of challenges.

  • Re-Set Through Fitness

    Re-Set through establishing a personalized fitness program. This interactive workshop will provide an orientation and instruction on safely and effectively using the faculty/staff fitness center. Participants will learn how to develop a personalized fitness program that is aligned with their fitness and wellness goals.

  • Re-Set Through Nutrition

    This workshop will utilize the 10 principles of intuitive eating to help participants better understand their hunger and fullness cues. Participants will learn recommendations for meeting nutrient needs and develop realistic meal and snack options. Focus is placed on educating on the basics of nutrition and examining the barriers to implementing lifelong change.
